Sinn EZM 7 S: New firefighter watch arrives in town!

The new Sinn firefighter EZM 7 S watch has just arrived in Singapore!

With the fortitude to brave through challenging environments, the EZM 7 S features a stainless steel case hardened using TEGIMENT Technology, making it especially scratch-resistant. Emboldened with the high-quality Black Hard Coating (PVD coating), this dramatically reduces wear and tear of the coloured coating on the case bezel.

For practical reasons rather than aesthetics, the colour-coded rotating bezel not merely adds a stunning contrast to the all-black case, but is a vital must-have trait. Each colour code represents a set of functions important to the firefighter during his mission.

A resilient fighter that emerges victorious in the toughest conditions. The EZM 7 S is the trusted timekeeping companion for adventurous trails and missions.

Available in a special limited edition of 300 units only.

Sinn Club Breaking News!

Launching the U1-D Mission Dune
The Hour Glass Special Edition
We are pleased to unveil to you here at Sinn Club, the first look at our latest and edgiest U1 to date – the U1-D,  a Special Ops Edition.  After a wait of 7 years since the last U1 project, The Hour Glass and Sinn have joined forces once again to create this highly anticipated 3rd installation of the U1 collectible series.

Taking inspiration from military codes, the Sinn U1-D is dressed in sartorial ruggedness of a sand trooper warrior – featuring a matte grey dial, contrasted with charcoal indices and sand-beige detailing – a significant departure from the U1’s minimalist black tones. Paired with a distressed tan brown calf leather strap with white stitching, the U1-D also comes in Camo Zulu strap – the final touches to the guerrilla grunge style of the mission timer.

Sinn U1 has come a long way from its birth as a cult status watch whispered about and shared only amongst sports watch connoisseurs; today, the U1 is an icon in its own rights, immediately recognisable on a wrist.  Boldly different and completely unexpected, the U1-D Mission Dune is conceived by and created for The Hour Glass, leading as a global unprecedented twist to this most iconic U1 series of Sinn.

In a Special Edition to commemorate the 35th anniversary of The Hour Glass, expect the U1-D stealth instrument to rise to the ranks of the still talked-about U-series from The Hour Glass hall of fame: U1-Tempus, U1-Black & Ultimate U – all of which are sold-out capsule collections.

The U1-D continues to be powered with the heavy duty proprietary technologies that Sinn is known for.  For more information and full technical specs, please click here.

Available in November, do visit your favourite The Hour Glass boutique to reserve your Sinn U1-D Special Ops Edition before they disappear like true stealth troopers. Click here for the boutique directory.

We leave you here with
Words from The Man himself, Mr. Lothar Schmidt, CEO, Sinn. Very succinct indeed.

Our customers trust the quality, reliability and proven performance of our timepieces. They include people who have a high affinity for technology. They are fascinated, for example, by our solutions for magnetic field protection and scratch resistance. However, our customers also include those who must be able to rely on their watch completely, such as divers, pilots or elite special forces units like the German GSG 9.

It’s functionality that counts. Therefore SINN watches include only truly useful technological features and omit purely fashionable gadgetry.

Thus we are always on the lookout for new technologies and materials. We often find inspiration by looking beyond the usual sources. We observe the developments in the sciences and other industries and push the limits of what is physically possible time and again in creating new watches. What’s the most exciting thing about our work? There are still many discoveries to be made!

Sinn 2009 New Products @ BASELWORLD

Sinn booth at BASELWORLD 2009

Check out the ultra-cool Sinn booth at the Fair. Sleek, matte, very black - much like the watches themselves. Stocked with a never-ending supply of fine chocolates, orange juice (I'm sure there was champagne too, but I was on the job...) and sparkling Perrier, Sinn is an island of cool comfort in the often frenzied atmosphere at Basel and that's not the only thing that makes it so lovely to visit the Sinn booth at the Basel Fair. Sinn fans will love the fact that they can step in anytime and see a stunning and extensive array of Sinn watches, plus to be warmly greeted by the very affable and humble Sinn CEO himself, Mr Lothar Schmidt (albeit in German!) and his lovely team. I thank the Sinn team for their warm and genuine hospitality - and look forward to visiting them again at the next fair.

Some sneak views of the new products in our region in 2009:
